The Joys of Going to Work

Okay so I work at a chain retail store that specialises in clothing for preteens and young teenagers.  Clothing wise it is not very goth friendly but like every store it does have its moments(today I managed to wear not only one but two pieces from the store, my manager will be proud!).  Luckily I do not have to wear the stores clothing to work.  Our dress code is actually very lenient, no pajamas, no work out clothes, and nothing to revealing.  So even though stompy boots or pointy witch heels are not very practical while on your feel on tile flooring I have managed to built quite a wardrobe that is both work apropriate and looks fantastic with combat boots.

Black Shirt:Stitches(where I work)
Waist Cincher: Lip Service
Skirt: Second Hand Shop
Tights:wal-mart(nylons) Dollar Store(fishnets)
Boots:Stitches(where I work)
Gloves: Found left on a bench at the mall
Necklace: bought the key at a local shop and used the chain from another necklace
And I also took some pics of today's work outfit, so if anyone is actually reading this comment below and tell me what you think of my outfits and perhaps even ask me some questions or give me ideas for future blogs.

  1. You look adorable! Those gloves were a lucky find. ;) Can't wait to see more of your outfit posts. :)

PS: Thank you for your nice comment on my blog!

  2. Aha thanks and yes I was quite pleased to find them, I have a rather unhealthy obsession with fingerless gloves:)

  3. Wow, you are lovely! And the outfit is very flattering too. Silently I want it to be mine forever.
