Still Kicking Around

Hey guys, its been a while since I have posted.  I haven't really had anything interesting going on in my life.
ended up moving back to residence instead of living in an apartment aside from that I haven't been doing much.

Anyway, I have an outfit to show you plus a picture of some badges I made.

Look at my Shitty Stitching!

Finished stitching up that shirt I showed you yesterday and decided to take a picture...
I'm not sure how well I like it.  I think it might look good layered.

Current DIY Project.

Hello fellow bloggers.  I do not have much of a post today because not much has really happened.  But that will change.  I am supposed to be spending time with my friend tomorrow, and also getting her to reshave my side cut.  Then Monday and Tuesday my other friend has time off work so I will be spending time with.  And I also have hang out dates to make later in the week with another friend!

So basically this just means that I will not be bored out of my skull, and because I won't be sitting on my ass all day you will probably get some outfit pictures!

Anyway, the purpose of this post was to show you my current DIY project.  A tank top with patches.

The Maid in USA patch is the print from an old t-shirt that doesn't fit right anymore.  The other three are all hand painted(I'm sure you could already tell because of my crappy art skills).  The first one is a Tibetan Tulpa symbol, those of you who watch Supernatural will probably recognize it.  The second is really bad and will probably get touched up later, but it is supposed to be a Bad Religion patch.  And the 3rd is obviously a 13th Chime patch.  If you have not heard 13th Chime you should look them up on youtube!

Red & Black Week-Day 6

Well guys it looks like today is the end of red and black week.  I have really enjoyed participating and I can honestly say it has been quite successful.  I have gotten way too many page views for my little heart to handle and even gained a few new followers as well as found some new blogs to follow!

Anyway, my final post is a little DIY project I did yesterday.  Its nothing amazing but i think it kind of cute.

I have come to realize that a girl can never have too many hair combs!

DIY Bat Coasters, Still in Progress

hello fellow bloggers, I just wanted to update you on what I've been up to which really isn't much.  I went to my parents cottage and wanted to take pictures of the pretty trilliums that were growing along the road but unfortunately it did not stop raining the entire time I was there.  Hopefully next time I will get some pictures though :)

I did however find my old plastic canvas that I used to do crafts with as a kid and naturally it made me want to start up again.  I have been looking for a hobby to do to keep me from being bored out of my mind lately so this is perfect!  I even started making some bat coasters.  I only had two colors of yarn so only the bat shapes are filled in but I will hopefully be getting some more yarn tomorrow, which means I will have lots of colorful bats to protect my tables!  Hopefully i will find black yarn to fill the backgrounds with.

so far I have a yellow bat and a red bat, I hope to be adding purple, green, blue , and pink into the collection.

The Cure DIY Shirt Outfit Post

Sorry the picture is awful my camera just seems to be shooting out worst quality pics every day.  Also I was in a rush so only the one pic.  I cut the majority of my legs out cause they looked very strange.  And yes i am wearing the shorts I showed you in the last post.

Deffiniately not my fav outfit so I actually felt very strange when I had people come up to me to compliment me at school.  I'm usually more comfident when recieving compliments while in a pretty skirt that I am in any type of shorts or pants.

PS.  Sorry 'bout the red eye forgot to remove it.  :P

DIY T-Shirt-Safety Pin Size Adjustment

So a few months ago I bought a shirt at a thrift store and it was just a bit too tight but I figured it would be an easy fix.  It took me awhile to get around to doing anything but when I did I figured it was best to remove the high neck line to give it a nicer look than plain old t-shirt.  And to fix the size issue I cut the back all the way up the middle and put it back together using safety pins.  This added about an inch of room onto the shirt and it now fits perfectly.

And just a quick update on my 'The Cure' shirt.  I did wear it and actually got quite a few compliments on it.  I was a bit derpy that day and forgot to take a picture so a photo of the completed product will be posted when I get around to wearing it again.

Duo Post-DIY The Cure Shirt + Cute Shoes

I don't feel like doing two seperate posts so I am doing them both in one!

First up just some pics of a DIY project.  I basically just took a plain black tee and used tape to write The Cure on it then took some spray fabric paint and voila.  Or so I hope considering I haven't gotten around to washing the excess paint off I'm not entirely sure if if turned out well.

Shirt with tape before the paint.
I ended up putting a bit more paint then this on it but you get the point.
Like I stated before I have not actually gotten around to washing this because my mom did my laundry for me and I didn't have this with the rest of my clothing so it will eventually be getting put into an outfit post.

And this second part of the post is really random but I think my new shoes are so cute that they need to be shared.  The best thing is I got them for under $4.

Adventures in DIY

On Monday/Tuesday I went out of town and had a chance to go to a craft store(My small city does not have one) and I went a bit crazy.  I ended up spending around $100 on pretty fake flowers, cameo charms, eyelets, fabric paint, etc.  So today I decided to try out making a hair accessory.  So ended up failing at making what I originally had a mental picture of but i don't think I did too bad.

I took some pictures...

I'm not overly proud of my work but it was my first attempt so I guess I did pretty good.

New Blog!

I sort of feel like I am talking to myself over hear and this blog contains things that I don't really want to share with friends and f...
