I had to wear stuff i already owned because I have no money.  I figured I looked kind of like a doll so that's what I told people i was.

Still Kicking Around

Hey guys, its been a while since I have posted.  I haven't really had anything interesting going on in my life.
 ended up moving back to residence instead of living in an apartment aside from that I haven't been doing much.

Anyway, I have an outfit to show you plus a picture of some badges I made.

Weight-loss and Wigs

So a couple of weeks ago I invested in a wig.  This might seem a bit odd but I want to be able to do whatever I want with my hair without jeopardizing my chances of finding a job.  So here are some pictures of me wearing said wig.

 I think it is pretty cute but not really enough of my style to wear often when not looking for a job.

On another note I tried on a pair of shorts that a year ago were really tight on me and are actually pretty loose now!  It always makes me feel good when I can actually see a difference in my body.

I took a picture today of me wearing the exact same outfit and you can visibly see that the shorts are no longer skin tight!

I feel much better wearing them now.

Just Running Errands

Even when just running errands I like to get dressed up so even though that is all I am doing today(my friend I was supposed to hang out with had to work) I still have a cute outfit for you guys.

You have seen this skirt really recently but I love it so much it just had to make its way into another outfit!

I'm not usually comfortable showing my tummy but this top is really cute ^.^

Current DIY Project.

Hello fellow bloggers.  I do not have much of a post today because not much has really happened.  But that will change.  I am supposed to be spending time with my friend tomorrow, and also getting her to reshave my side cut.  Then Monday and Tuesday my other friend has time off work so I will be spending time with.  And I also have hang out dates to make later in the week with another friend!

So basically this just means that I will not be bored out of my skull, and because I won't be sitting on my ass all day you will probably get some outfit pictures!

Anyway, the purpose of this post was to show you my current DIY project.  A tank top with patches.

The Maid in USA patch is the print from an old t-shirt that doesn't fit right anymore.  The other three are all hand painted(I'm sure you could already tell because of my crappy art skills).  The first one is a Tibetan Tulpa symbol, those of you who watch Supernatural will probably recognize it.  The second is really bad and will probably get touched up later, but it is supposed to be a Bad Religion patch.  And the 3rd is obviously a 13th Chime patch.  If you have not heard 13th Chime you should look them up on youtube!

Misfits!

So I found out today that I might get to see Misfits in October.  I am super excited as they are one of my favourite bands(Although I kinda wish I could step back in time and see them with Danzig).  Best part is that I was informed of this upcoming concert while wearing my Misfits shirt.  Now I can officially tell people that this shirt can summon band members :P

I don't know why but when I was walking to the grocery store these two girls started staring at me and went very silent as if they thought I was going to rip out their hearts and use them as a blood sacrifice to summon Satan.  This wasn't even a very extreme outfit!  But Whatever.

Mini Shopping Trip

This is my second post in one day!  It truly is a miracle.  Anyway my city has recently gotten a Giant Tiger, for those of you who do not know what that is, it is pretty much a store that sells really inexpensive stuff.  I am a huge fan of this store because I do not like to spend lots of money and i can usually find a few cute things in their clothing section.

So today I went into the new store with my mom and she offered to buy me a few things, so here is what I got.

its not clothing but I really am in need of an umbrella so I was happy when I found this cute rose printed umbrella for under $5.

It's not a very good photo but it is just a plain lace tank top, best part it was only $4.

This one looks really bad in the picture but is really cute in person.  It is an off the shoulder top that is a fishnet like fabric that is really comfy!  And it was $8.

Up close shot doesn't really do it justice either, guess I will just have to make an outfit post of me wearing it :P

Quick Update

Hey guys, its been forever since I've posted.  I have been very busy with school and have not had much time for blogging.  Even my tumblr posts have been slowed down.  Anyway, just letting you guys know that all is good.  And it is not much but I do have some outfit shots for you.  It is nothing fancy, this is pretty much how I have been dressing on a daily basis for the last few weeks.  I have finally purchased some jeans that are comfy so my outfits have been extremely casual.

I feel like my daily wear of jeans tucked into boots with a t-shirt and loose cardigan is a bit reminiscent of Robert Smith.  But that could just be because that is what he is wearing in my Boys Don't Cry poster.

Being Called Beautiful Can Go A Long Way

Hey guys, I was going to just do a simple outfit post but I have decided that I wanted to talk about something instead.  I'm going to try not to turn this into a rant because I think this is actually a pretty positive post.  What I want to talk about is self-esteem.  I know we all have our ups and downs, some days all I want to do is cry others I am the happiest person in the world.  Some days start out bad and something turns them around and everything bad that happened earlier just seems to disappear, personally I love these days.

I don't want to make this one of those "love yourself" post, even though you all should.  I want this to be more about just my feelings on my own self-esteem.  I have had a lot of self-esteem issues in the past year or so, this mostly stems from a bad experience with co-workers and because I have gained a lot of weight within the last year.  Some of these problems you may have read about if you've been following my blog for awhile.

In the last few months I have noticed a change in my moods, I seem to be happier more, the little things don't seem to get me down as much as they used to, and despite my friends annoyance at my "giant ego" I have felt like I was beautiful for one of the first times in my life.  Yeah, I know that probably sounds cheesy, but it is true.  I have always had people call me pretty or cute and I only had a few people who would say negative things.  I didn't really focus on those negative things but I also never believed the compliments given to me.

I'm not sure about you but to me being called pretty or cute just seems like really shallow compliments that don't hold very much meaning.  I'm not trying to say those are bad compliments but to me they just seem very generic and like something people tell every person they come across.  When I hear people trying to boost someone spirit about their looks it is always pretty used, rarely words like beautiful or gorgeous.  Yes, this whole paragraph probably seems odd, but this is my blog and this is how I feel about those words so deal.  :P

Anyway, I have recently become fairly close to a friend I met a little over a year ago and once again I am going to sound cheesy but I'm pretty sure he is the first person to ever actually call me beautiful, and it feels great.  Okay, so admittedly I may have a bit of a crush on him, but I can tell he seems genuine about thinking I'm beautiful and it has been a huge confidence boost regardless of my feeling for him.  When someone compliments you out of the blue, simply because they feel like it, just seems so much better than receiving compliments on a photo you posted.  not that I don't love getting compliments from you guys, they do make me feel quite good and do put a smile on my face.

Another big boost in self-esteem and my confidence is tumblr.  I always hear that people have problems with social networking sites saying that they destroy young girls self esteem, I don't think this is try if you don't let it.  when I first joined tumblr I was looking at pictures of rail thin models and it was bringing me down about my own body type.  I slowly started moving from a fashion related to a fandom related blog(you guys that follow me probably think I am insane for most of the stuff I post, but I love you for still following) and I noticed a change, I stopped compairing myself to models and instead to compliments that were given to me. Friends I made started praising me on my interests and seemed to like me for who I was.(yes more cheesy lines)

I can't explain why but tumblr has boosted my confidence and has also led me into a part of my life where i have stopped worrying about conforming into one group.  when I first got interested in goth my mentality was learn everything and play by the rules.  Now my mentality is fuck it I'm doing what I want, hell I don't even call myself a goth.  Tumblr has taught me to indulge in all my interests and not care if they don't go together.  this has also led to fashion changes.  To be honest I still love the dark aesthetic and probably always will, but at times I just wanna dress normal or bum around in my old faded blue ripped jeans and a fandom t-shirt.  I used to try and only wear gothy outfit but now I am wearing whatever I feel like wearing and I feel great doing it.

I'm not entirely sure what the purpose of this post is and I'm afraid i may have landed in ranting territory(HOLY SHIT THIS POST IS LONG!) but here is a not so gothy outfit i wore today :P

Random Outfit Post

Hey guys, I am in a really cheerful mood this morning.  I woke up and actually felt like wearing something pretty instead of pants and t-shirt.  I also did my make-up and hair which is even more rare than me dressing pretty these days.  I always feel so great when I'm all prettied up.

And to top things off, when I went to take the pictures my MP3 switched to Goody Two Shoes by Adam Ant.  I find that song always makes things better.

School Day 2

Hey guys, today is my second day of school.  I only have one class today and it does not start until 11:40.  It feel so strange only having 2 hours of class, not that I'm complaining.

Anyway, here is what I will be wearing to classes today.

The sad part is that the most expensive item I'm wearing is probably the stockings.  The shirt was $1 and then painted and the skirt was found at a thrift store for $4.

Cancelled All Plans and Taking a Lazy Day

So this morning when I got dressed I was planning on going out and doing stuff, but after spending most of the night awake thanks to drunk neighbours I realized I was far to tired to sit through boring seminars so I decided on another lazy day.

In other news I had a hangout date with the girl I met on tumblr.  It was a bit awkward but I kinda figured we would both be lacking social skills since we do both spend our lives on tumblr.  but we did seem to get along just fine, she has been having a hard time making friends aswell, she was actually happy that I contacted her.  So yay to the beginning of another friendship.

And since I actually got dressed this morning with the intention of going out I do have a picture worthy outfit for you guys.  You have seen this dress quite recently but the picture had been horrible so you are getting it again.  And in this picture you can see the kick ass boots I was planning on wearing.  I got them for $8 at a thrift store, was so excited!!

Casual, You're Doing It Right.

Guys I think this is a new record, posting three days in a row.  And not just posting three days in a row, but posting outfits three days in a row!!!  Okay so today I don't really have anything to do so I figured I would dress really casual since I'll only be going out briefly.  But I also didn't want to look like I was bumming around in lazy clothes while I went out so the simple solution for me is always leggings!!

Anywho the leggings have spider webs and skeletons on them which is pretty epic if you ask me.  I'm not a big fan of wearing leggings with t-shirts so I put the most comfortable skirt in existence over top of it, which happens to be hot pink(I love pink), and topped it off with my Bauhaus shirt.  Overall, I think I look pretty badass for a lazy day.

And I'm not sure if you guys figured it out from my rambling and over use of exclamation marks but I'm really happy today.  Why?  I just got into contact with someone on Tumblr that lives in my Res!  She appears to be a fangirl like me so hopefully it will mean a second friendship made here!!  I will keep you updated on my college experience and you will be getting lots of outfit shots because the lighting in this room is far better than my room at home.

Hey guys, I would like to thank you for the lovely comments you have left on my last post.  And I have some news, I MADE A FRIEND!!!  Yup, that's right I have befriended a guy that lives on my floor and is in the same program from me.  It's only one person and we don't really have much in common but it's a start.

Oh and I have another outfit shot for you.  The lace shirt is the one I bought at a thrift shop a while back.  And the dress was bought on sale at the end of last summer for around $10.  This outfit is super comfy.

Hey guys, I just wanted to leave a message of sorts so you know I am still kicking around in the world of blogging.  I've been busy and will continue to be busy with life.  I just moved into my Dorm for the year and I am trying to find friends so that means I have been going to most of the events hosted by my school.  So far I haven't had much luck with making friends, my roommate hasn't moved in yet so hopefully I will have a friend in her.

Making friends really can be quite difficult for me since I am really shy, but i have managed to have some friendly conversations with people so I'm sure I'll have a friend or two in no time.
