Red & Black Week-Day 4
Hello, and welcome back for day four of red and black week. Today's post is actually what I was going to post yesterday before remembering that it was supposed to be red, black and white. I bought this corset around a year ago and just never got around to wearing it. hot summers and 6 hour days at school just didn't seem like the appropriate times. So I finally decided to lace myself up in honor of red and black week!
The rest of my outfit is quite boring and consists of a plain black t-shirt and a black maxi skirt that I got for around $2.

Great corset! Don't you just LOVE the figure you get from a real waist cincher!? I pity all the ladies who never learn that the boustier's they buy at the mall are nowhere near an actual CORSET and miss out on all the fun!

ReplyDeleteI totally agree with GothBarbie - nothing compares to a real, steel-boned corset of high quality, which yours obviously is! Did you feel totally amazing wearing it? I know I do when I wear mine. The simply shirt and skirt are PERFECT for pairing with a corset that nice - let the gorgeous fabric and construction shine without distraction!

ReplyDeleteWow, this is a beautiful corset - I was planning on getting a plain black brocade underbust, but now this is making me swither to red and black! Seconding Ms. Kitty on the simplicity of the surrounding outfit; it really makes the drama of the corset stand out.
